NFL Monday Night Football Philadelphia Eagles Daily Fantasy Sports
The Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off in a Week 3 Monday Night Football showdown, and daily fantasy sports (DFS) players will be looking to build winning lineups around players from both teams.
Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles ($17,400 DraftKings, $8,800 FanDuel)
Hurts is a rising star at quarterback, and he's coming off a big game in Week 2 against the Vikings. He threw for 333 yards and three touchdowns, and he also rushed for 57 yards. Hurts has a lot of weapons at his disposal, including AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert. He's a bit pricey on DFS, but he's worth it in a good matchup against the Bucs.
Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers ($13,800 DraftKings, $8,000 FanDuel)
Evans is one of the most consistent wide receivers in the NFL, and he's always a threat to score a touchdown. He had five catches for 113 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 against the Saints. Evans will be facing a tough Eagles secondary, but he's still a must-start in DFS.
AJ Brown, WR, Eagles ($10,200 DraftKings, $7,600 FanDuel)
Brown was acquired by the Eagles in the offseason, and he's quickly become one of Hurts' favorite targets. He had six catches for 85 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 against the Vikings. Brown is a big-play threat, and he's a good bet to put up big numbers on Monday night.
Dallas Goedert, TE, Eagles ($6,400 DraftKings, $5,800 FanDuel)
Goedert is one of the top tight ends in the NFL, and he's coming off a six-catch, 22-yard performance in Week 2. The Bucs have struggled to defend tight ends in recent years, so Goedert is a good value play in DFS.
Other Eagles to consider:
- DeVonta Smith, WR
- Kenneth Gainwell, RB
- Miles Sanders, RB
Other Buccaneers to consider:
- Chris Godwin, WR
- Leonard Fournette, RB
- Rachaad White, RB
Example DFS lineup:
- QB: Jalen Hurts, Eagles
- RB: Leonard Fournette, Buccaneers
- RB: Kenneth Gainwell, Eagles
- WR: Mike Evans, Buccaneers
- WR: AJ Brown, Eagles
- WR: DeVonta Smith, Eagles
- TE: Dallas Goedert, Eagles
- Flex: Chris Godwin, Buccaneers
This lineup is a bit pricey, but it has a lot of upside. Hurts is a top-five quarterback, and Evans and Brown are two of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Goedert is a solid tight end, and Fournette and Gainwell are both capable of running for 100 yards and scoring a touchdown. Godwin is a bit of a risk, but he has a lot of potential if he can stay healthy.
Of course, this is just one example lineup. There are many other ways to build a winning DFS lineup for Monday Night Football. The best way to approach DFS is to do your research and build a lineup that you think has the best chance to succeed.
